Samuel Stupp directs the executive level of all scientific activities and leads the overall management of the Center. He is the principal investigator and serves as the primary point of contact for scientific and administrative communications to the U.S. Department of Energy.
Monica Olvera de la Cruz brings leadership in promoting scientific partnerships and collaboration. In addition to being a senior investigator on the project, she works closely with the Director of Research to foster engagement with the postdoctoral fellows and graduate student community. She represents the Center Director in his absence.
Liam Palmer provides technical leadership and serves as the scientific liaison for the team. He directs the implementation of strategic actions to ensure alignment with the Center’s scientific objectives. He also coordinates all scientific highlights and technical reporting requirements.
Matt Irwin oversees all administrative functions and operations. He works closely with the Center Director in making decisions on personnel and resource allocation and also directs the Center’s communication and outreach initiatives.
Victoria Roberts provides post-award administrative support for the Center. Her key responsibilities include processing accounts payables and receivables, compiling routine reports, maintaining the Center's research publications, uploading website content, scheduling meetings, and maintaining databases.
